Caged Flight

Now and then, I am reminded of why I love little_details. Today, specifically, the numerous ways on "How to Torture w/o Physical Pain." There are over 70 comments. I am...strangely entralled. Possibly due to the violence I desperately want to do to Hikaru and Akira in Season of Black Chrysanthemums: Spring...but am (wo)manly holding myself back from. ^^;;

Also, furiosity has posted a detailed look at the extremely structured and careful way she writes. It is seriously humbling. So alright, I do my share of proof-reading and (slight) re-writing after letting things sit a few days, but this? There are printing and...and index cards and-and highlighters (which makes the not so-secret geek in me hurrah). If you click on her post, do make sure to check out the picture she took of what a ~1,500 words fanfic looks like while in the works. Seriously, fandom people are awesome.

Oh, and in case it hasn't been already noticed, rageprufrock is offering to write drabbles of anything before or after one of her stories. Better get to it quick though, before she closes the offer - there are already 15 comments, 7 of which appeared while I typed up this post. ^_^
